How to Make Vegan Deli Meat

- 500 grams firm tofu
- 1 Tsp paprika
- ¾ Tsp Sea Salt
- ¾ Tsp granulated onion
- ¾ Tsp granulated Garlic
- ¾ Tsp pepper, you can put less if you can’t handle the heat
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. or 200ºC
Remove the tofu from the package and place it onto a plate lined with paper towel, cover it the tofu with another paper towel, Place something heavy on it to squeeze out the water. Leave it for 30 mins.
Place the pressed tofu and the remaining ingredients into your high performance blender, Secure the lid and process until well incorporated.
Transfer the mixture to a lined cookie sheet. Spread the mixture as evenly as possible.
Cover the mixture with parchment paper and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Then slice the “meat” into any shape you like.
If you prefer them crispy, just flip them to other side and bake for another 5 minutes.
Make your sandwich just the way you like it and enjoy!
Left overs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
